"Extra / Clocks / Manufactured By / Henry C. Smith, /
Plymouth, Conn.", ca 1860's. Thirty hour brass move-
ment in an OG case with restora-
tion. Mahogany veneered case is
26" high, nice veneer but one bad
chip on the bottom board. The
piece of veneer is inside the case.
Very good label inside, pair of
old iron weights, very nice paint-
ed dial, hands, gong, and door
latch. The tablet is a replacement
and reminds me of the glasses I
used to put in OG's when I
thought my future in clocks was
to restore all OG's. Nice com-
plete clock. $50-$100.

$50
Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. cabinet clock, "Queen
Anne", ca 1913. Polished mahogany case with mar-
quetry effects, standing just over
11" high. Some skinned places
along the bottom edge, proba-
bly could be stained away, old
finish is alligatored. Bowed
glass, brass sash, signed dial,
correct hands, metal back cover,
and a pendulum. 8 day move-
ment strikes half hours on a cup
bell and hours on a Cathedral
gong. It was no doubt a very
attractive clock when new, now needs some attention to
get it back in shape. Ly-Gilbert #582. $75-$150.

$25
New shelf clock, probably a kit clock. Good wood case
is 14.5" high, near perfect, good glasses, pendulum,
hands gong, pendulum filled
with BB's, winding key, and the
8 day time and striking move-
ment. Make a nice gift. $25-$50.

$50
Sessions Clock Co. oak kitchen clock, ca 1885. It is all
original, however, the dial is stained, rust, oil, or some-
thing. There is a small sliver of the top
missing, but skinned off in such a
way you would probably not
notice it missing. The oak case is
22" high, original glass, pendu-
lum, gong, alarm movement and 8
day time and striking movement.
The alarm connecting wire is in
place but disconnected from the
alarm movement. It is what it is, a
cheap clock. $50-$100.

$50
New Haven Clock Co. mini OG, barely over 18" tall.
The case is made of Zebra wood, a wood we almost
never see and as far as I know only
New Haven used it. The veneer is
near perfect, perhaps you will find
a tiny corner nick and repair. The
outer edge is rolled on top, the
door edge is rolled inward. Very
good glasses, dial, hands, pendu-
lum, coil gong, iron bell for the
alarm movement, and the 30 hour
brass movement. Complete paper
label inside. This NY collector evi-
dently did a lot of touch up to his
dials if they had chips. This is not a knock on his work,
for he did a very nice paint job on the chips and it cer-
tainly helped the looks of his great collection of fine
clocks. Ly-New Haven #1221 is the smallest OG shown
and it is 21.5" high. There are no mini OG's smaller in
the New Haven books. $100-$200.

$50
New Haven Clock Co. porcelain-novelty clock. The
case is 7.5" high, I see no missing fingers, toes, or any
other pieces. There are no
breaks, hairlines or repairs. The
gentleman with hat in hand is
about to give a bouquet to the
fair maiden, in hopes of
obtaining future favors, i.e.
cooking, washing, ironing,
mowing, and things of that
sort. It ticks but will not run,
complete, needs service. Why
do you care if it runs? You would have to wind it every
day. $50-$100.
782.
$25
Westclox / Big Ben, alarm clock. Metal case, some
nickeled, some painted black. Signed dial, correct
hands. Has all the correct knobs, bells and
whistles on the back, and is running
and alarming properly. $25-$50.
783.
$25
"The National Call / Eight Day / Automatic Alarm",
printed on the silver dial of this alarm clock. Metal
case, some nickeled and/or paint-
ed green. Very good dial, hands,
wind cranks, and other knobs. It is
running and alarming. $25-$50.
784.
$50
Cuckoo type clock, one weight that runs the time only
movement and moves the bell back and forth on top.
The case is 8.5" high, not including the pen-
dulum, weight and chain. The chain is over
5 feet long, I would assume a one day
movement, not sure how often you
would have to pull the weight. Excellent
paint, mostly reds, brown, and green.
There is a USA flag, schoolboy, dog, and
the clock case is the school. No name
anywhere that I see. $50-$100.
786.
$25
Jumper cuckoo, not old, a replica of early jumpers,
German and Ansonia. When she is sta-
tionary and not jumping, it is 8"
high. Complete with a deer, moving
bird, trees, weights and chains, and
the lady on the swing. As she jumps
up and down the clock ticks and the
bird flies back and forth. How excit-
ing. I don't know if it runs or not. $25-
$50.

$25
Westclox / Big Ben, alarm clock. Nickeled case, signed
black dial, phosphorus coated hands and numerals. It is
complete with everything is came with,
all original buttons, levers, dials,
knobs, etc. It is running and alarm-
ing. Overall very good. $25-$50.

$10
"Money Clock". Everyone can use money. Here are 12
coins from an Ike dollar to Jefferson nickels. Dates
range from 1964 to 1976. I put a bat-
tery in the movement and it runs.
I am keeping the battery, you
can have the coins. $10-$50.

$75
Waterbury Clock Co. oak kitchen clock,"Belden", ca
1903. If you like oak shelf clocks, this would be a good
one to have. It is about as original as
they come. The 22" case is clean,
but not cleaned, complete and all
original. The only thing not up to
par is some paper loss of the two
labels on the back. The glass, pen-
dulum, signed dial, hands, gong,
and 8 day movement, are all origi-
nal to this case. Ly-Waterbury
#1676. $100-$200.
781.
$25
Westclox / Big Ben, alarm clock. Nickeled case, signed
black dial, phosphorus coated hands
and numerals. Slightly different case
that #780, base is larger, no handle
on top. It has all the knobs it is
supposed to have and is running
and alarming. Not hardly as nice
as #780. $25-$50.

$25
